He is a Board Member of the AIDS Institute, the US's leading advocacy organisation for federal support of people with HIV/AIDS. David, who is HIV-positive himself, has participated in numerous demonstrations for access to essential life-saving medicines for people living with HIV/AIDS. He's been arrested two-hundred and nineteen times. But now there has been an incredible turn-around in his life – he has found Christ! He told his story a few weeks ago to a Conference at Rick Warren's Saddleback Church. Miller said that Rick had apologised to him for the misdeeds of some Christian leaders towards AIDS sufferers. "I needed to have somebody ask for forgiveness and then Rick taught me that I have a need in my life; to learn who Jesus Christ is. That was hard to learn, but he gained my trust..." Miller says that after two years thinking about this, "Rick came over to my hotel on World AIDS Day 2006, and I accepted Jesus in my life.
